After ten years, this International Forum re-examines literature and film, illustration and animation in the BAB program. We will look at how narrative elements are being adapted to the art of animation. The fairy tale genre is featured across this year’s program, including the BIBIANA exhibition about H. CH. Andersen.
Over 30 years ago, the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava (1985) focused on adaptation in a special seminar. The 2016 BAB reopens this subject and paves the way for further exploration.
